Biography

KazX is a Tennessee-based hip-hop artist who blends Southern crunk energy with Midwest flow, creating a sound rooted in early 2000s street rap.

Emerging from Spring Hill, Tennessee, KazX built a catalog that captures the raw, unfiltered energy of urban South hip-hop filtered through a Detroit sensibility. The music fuses Memphis-style crunk production with rapid-fire Midwest delivery, creating tracks that hit hard with aggressive beats and unapologetic lyrics.

KazX’s sound is anchored in the early 2000s era of Three 6 Mafia, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and underground Southern rap, with production handled primarily by KazX and collaborator K Wiz. No samples, all original beats, crisp, hard-hitting, and built for the streets.

Lyrically, KazX doesn’t hold back. Weed anthems, street credibility, relationship struggles, and the tension of being an outsider navigating unfamiliar territory.

In February 2026, KazX releases Green Light District, an EP compiling tracks that showcase the full range of the sound: crunk bangers, introspective moments, and unfiltered aggression. The project features collaborations with K Wiz and serves as a definitive statement of the KazX catalog.
